Nepal Women's T20I Tri-Series 2025

The Nepal women’s cricket team is hosting Thailand and the Netherlands for their first-ever Tri-Series, scheduled from January 30 to February 7. The 9-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The series marks a long-awaited return to international cricket for both Nepal and the Netherlands, who last played a T20I in July 2024 at the Asia Cup and in August 2024, respectively. Meanwhile, Thailand most recently participated in a Quadrangular series featuring China, Namibia, and Hong Kong in December 2024, where they emerged as champions with four straight wins.

Nepal has won 39 of their 59 T20Is, losing 18, with one match ending in no result. This series offers Nepal a double opportunity; to secure their first-ever win over Thailand, having lost all three previous encounters, and to play the Netherlands for the first time in international cricket.

The Netherlands, with a record of 29 wins

from 77 T20Is, has also drawn two, lost 41, and had four matches end without a

result. While they are set to play Nepal for the first time, they have faced Thailand in 9 T20Is, winning only 2, and will be keen to narrow this gap.

Meanwhile, Thailand has been impressive,

with 60 wins from 96 T20Is, losing 34, and two matches ending in no result.Thailand boasts a perfect 3-0 record against Nepal and a strong 7-2 record against the Netherlands. They will look to extend their dominance while aiming

for consecutive series victories.
