NOTABLE PARTICIPATIONS
Nepal Under-19 became Plate Champions of the 2006 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, defeating the U-19 side of full members New Zealand and South Africa. The U-19 team finished as runners-up in the plate championship in the 2002 and 2008 editions of the U-19 World Cup.
The 2016 ICC U-19 World Cup saw Nepal reach the quarterfinals of the tournament. Nepal U-19 defeated India U-19 in the 2017 ACC Asia Cup. Nepal U-19 defeated Afganistan U-19 in the 2024 ACC Asia Cup.
NOTABLE INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES
Rahul Vishwakarma’s spell of 6 wickets for 3 runs against Papua New Guinea in the 2012 U-19 World Cup remains one of the best bowling performances in the history of the U-19 World Cup.
Dipesh Kandel’s hattrick against the UAE U-19 rescued Nepal from the difficult position and sealed Nepal’s qualification for the 2024 U-19 World Cup. Santosh Yadav and Unish Singh were the stars with the ball, claiming three wickets each and dismantling the Afghan lineups in ACC U19s ASIA CUP 2024.

The junior women’s team had finished third in the ICC Women’s U-19 World Cup Asian Qualification, 2022. In 2024 , under the captaincy of Puja Mahato, Nepal qualified to 2025 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup and 2024 ACC Women's Under-19 T20 Asia Cup as a result of finishing first in points table in 2025 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup qualification.
